Tuesday was a busy day on the campaign trail, as I traveled to Orlando for a candidate interview with the Fraternal Order of Police. It was a great opportunity to speak with them and learn more about their issues and, more importantly, thank them for their service in these perilous times. I’m glad to report the great news that FOP has endorsed my campaign, and I thank them for their support.
Later on Tuesday, I attended an Associated Builders and Contractors event at ABI Interiors in downtown Melbourne. It was great to meet with and talk to so many folks in the building industry.
I then headed back to Orlando for a meeting with Florida Healthcare Association. It was very enlightening to learn about many of the aspects of the nursing home and senior healthcare industry.
Wednesday, in the midst of walking door-to-door, I took a break to attend my homeowners association meeting – I serve as secretary of my HOA.
Yesterday, I attended the Home Builders and Contractors Alliance of Brevard monthly meeting. It was an honor to meet with these folks since they recently endorsed my campaign. The guest speaker was the always-entertaining Sheriff Ivey.
Today, we are headed out walking and will continue through the weekend, as we have several groups of volunteers together to visit some neighborhoods and get our message out.
As always, I am grateful for your support. Have a great weekend!
