On Tuesday, I attended the Melbourne Chamber’s Government Affairs monthly meeting. Our guest speaker, from the office of the Supervisor of Elections, educated us on voting rules and time frames. We also discussed Indian River Lagoon issues and the new workforce rules that have been imposed by executive order. They will be effective on December 1.
On Wednesday, I attended the Brevard Republican Club monthly dinner. As a member of the club, I always enjoy this opportunity to meet some new folks and visit with friends and campaign supporters. I appreciated the opportunity to address the audience with a brief update on our campaign.
Yesterday, we were out door-knocking and installing campaign signs.
Today, I met with some local media about the campaign, and then I had a very productive lunch meeting with a group of volunteers and supporters.
We are looking forward to a busy weekend of walking neighborhoods, installing more signs, and visiting with the voters. I wish everyone a safe and Happy Fourth of July weekend!
