During the first part of this week, I spent some time in Tallahassee. As you know, the 2016 Legislative Session is underway, and I was there to attend the Florida Association of Insurance Agents Capitol Days events. We discussed insurance-related bills that will be making their way through the House and Senate this year, and we were able to provide input on them to a number of legislators.
On Wednesday, folks from the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce were in Tallahassee for legislative meetings and I was glad to connect with them and join them for lunch.
Yesterday, I had an interesting and productive meeting with Mike and Summit Shah, local business owners, as they shared their perspective on the issues facing them. Last night, I spoke at the Brevard County Medical Society dinner. This group was the first to endorse my campaign in the spring of last year.
Since then, our campaign has continued to gain momentum, and I’m grateful for friends and supporters like you. Let’s keep it up!
