Monday was the start of another productive campaign and workweek. I attended the New Millennium Conservative Club Monday night to hear the three candidates running for the newly formed Senate District 17.
Tuesday, I attended an interview with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Florida. I had a great time discussing the issues facing the community and state regarding residential, commercial, and public construction. Yesterday afternoon, I received the great news that, after interviewing all the candidates in our race, ABC elected to endorse me. I am honored to receive this endorsement from a great group of hard working people.
On Wednesday, I attended my homeowners association meeting. I serve on the board as a director.
Thursday, I attended the Republican Women’s Network of South Brevard meeting, where all of our constitutional officers spoke. We heard great information from Tax Collector Lisa Cullen, Property Appraiser Dana Blickley, and Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott. They discussed their office budgets and implementation of computer systems.
Thursday evening, I attended a debate at the Duran Golf Club. The Republican Mentors Club did an excellent job hosting a great event.
On Friday, I attended an interview with the Brevard County Fire Department to learn about their issues. I followed that up with lunch with a great group of campaign supporters. To wrap up the day, I took a tour at Carroll Distributing, one of the biggest distributors in Brevard County. I always enjoy meeting and learning about businesses to see how they operate and what makes them successful.
We are planning to attend the Vietnam Veterans 29th Annual Vietnam and All Veterans Reunion Saturday at Wickham Park. On Sunday, we will be at the Melbourne Art Festival. Hope to see you at one of these great events!
Thanks for your support. Have a great weekend!
